eCoaching

Online coaching. Understand your skiing.

A great way to work on your skiing, wherever you are. Send me a video of your skiing, and let's discuss it together on a video call.

Movement analysis and a video call

The approach

See it. Understand it. Improve it.

From video analysis to in-depth discussions about technique and biomechanics, eCoaching is tailored to your questions and goals. Together, we'll look for ways to help you understand your skiing and improve it.

My eCoaching combines detailed video analysis with a personal video call to help you understand your skiing, not just see it.

Together, we’ll explore the mechanics behind your turns, identify opportunities for improvement, and define clear, practical next steps.

What you get

Video call

A personal video call to discuss your skiing, explore the mechanics behind your turns, and agree on practical next steps.

Technical discussion

From technique and biomechanics to movement strategies and the science behind a ski turn. Bring your questions, and let's explore the answers together.

Written summary

You'll receive your movement analysis and suggested next steps in writing.

Follow-up

If you'd like to continue, send me an updated video after a few weeks of practice so we can review your progress and fine-tune your next steps.

Video and Carv data analysis

If you ski with Carv, send me your Carv data along with a video of your skiing. We'll use both to explore how the numbers relate to what your skiing actually looks like.

How it works

  1. Get in touch

Send me a message with a link to your video and your preferred dates for the call. The most important thing is to get started. :)

  2. Film and send

Ask someone to film you skiing from multiple angles. Upload the video to Google Drive, Dropbox, or YouTube as an unlisted video, then send me the link.

  3. Let's hop on a call

We'll review your video together, discuss what is happening in your turns, and agree on a few things to focus on in your next sessions.

  4. Written summary

You'll receive a written summary of your analysis, along with practical recommendations and clear next steps.

  5. Follow-up

FAQ

A few things to know

How does eCoaching work?

You send me a video of your skiing, and I analyze your movement, technique, and how your turns develop. We then go through the footage together during a personal video call, discussing what you do, why it happens, and what you could explore or improve. After our call, you'll receive a written summary with key takeaways, recommendations, and drills to work on.

What kind of skiing video should I send?

Ideally, send footage that shows your skiing clearly from different angles, including turns in both directions. A few short clips are usually more useful than one long video. Don't worry about producing a professional video. The most important thing is that I can see your movements and how you interact with your skis and the snow. I'll provide guidance on what to film when needed.

Who is eCoaching for?

eCoaching is for skiers who want more than general tips. Whether you're an ambitious recreational skier, a technical skiing enthusiast, or a ski instructor looking to deepen your understanding of technique and movement, we can tailor the analysis to your experience, questions, and goals.

What will I get out of an eCoaching session?

You'll gain a clearer understanding of your skiing, including what's working, what could be improved, and why. You'll receive a written summary of our discussion, practical recommendations, and drills to explore on snow. The aim isn't simply to give you a list of corrections, but to help you understand your skiing and make more informed decisions about your own development.

Can we review my skiing again after I've worked on the feedback?

Yes. If you'd like to see how your skiing develops, you can send updated footage for a follow-up review. This allows us to compare your skiing, discuss what's changed, and decide what to focus on next. Progress often comes through a cycle of experimentation, observation, and reflection, and eCoaching can support that process.
